You make stories real.
We help you find them first.

SceneOne is where Southeast Asia’s screenwriters, novelists and storytellers put protected work in front of the people who can make it — with authorship, verification and terms sorted before the first conversation.

Script Health on every work

The best writers in Southeast Asia aren’t in your inbox.

The problem we solve

The reality today

Sourcing a script is cold, unverified and slow.

You’re working from cold inboxes and forwarded PDFs. The good writers you’d want don’t know how to reach you, and the ones who do are a lottery.

You can’t see the risk. Who actually wrote this? Is it adapted from something someone else owns? Has it been shopped everywhere? That’s a lawyer and two weeks — per script.

And the region’s stories go unmade. Southeast Asia is full of them; too few reach a desk that could make them real.

How it works for you

Feed to closed deal, in five steps.

01

Discover

Search, filter or AI-match the feed of protected works — or post a mandate and let creators pitch you.

02

Request

Send an access request with a note. The creator approves before you see a page — no cold outreach, no exposure without consent.

03

Read

Open a single, watermarked, 1-week read link inside a private room. No downloads, no forwarding, every page traceable to you.

04

Assess

Read the writer's Script Health — a nine-axis analysis of structure, character, market and more — beside their bio, awards and past work.

05

Deal

Propose terms, counter-offer, and agree in-room. The commission clause is on the table from the first message, not after.

You pay when a deal closes. Never for the privilege of looking.

The model

What you get

A pipeline, not a slush pile.

Discovery that works

Filter by format, genre, language and score; or search by logline and let AI surface the closest matches.

Mandates

Post what you're looking for and have qualified creators come to you, instead of the other way around.

Watermarked reads

Time-limited, single-use, per-reader watermarked links. The work is never downloadable or forwardable.

Script Health

A second read on every script — nine axes, a verdict, and the writer's track record — before you commit a meeting to it.

The deal room

Structured terms, counter-offers and a visible commission clause, so the business is clear before the creative conversation.

A verified profile

Your company, your slate, your credits — a profile creators can trust, with a verification badge that means we checked.

Protected by design

Every script arrives with its papers.

A SHA-256 fingerprint and timestamp on upload, an automatic originality check against produced and published work, and a clean record of who wrote it and when. You read with the chain of authorship already established — the exact thing that usually costs you a fortnight before you can say yes.

A script you can’t trace is a risk you can’t see coming.

Why it matters

What we’re building next

From finding work to deciding on it — together.

Today SceneOne helps you find and secure work. Next, it helps your whole team decide.

soon

Watchlist & verdict

Save a script, tag it, write private notes only your company sees, and mark it Pass / Consider / Recommend — the vocabulary coverage has used for fifty years.

soon

“Clean to option?” rights panel

Authorship, co-writer consent, prior submissions and originality — surfaced as one readiness panel, so a rights check is a glance, not a fortnight with a lawyer.

soon

Saved searches & alerts

“Tell me when a Tamil thriller under 100 pages scores 80+.” The feed works for you while you sleep.

Straight answers

The four questions you’re actually asking.

01

Is this a legal risk? Whose work am I even reading?

Every work carries a SHA-256 certificate and a timestamped authorship record made the moment it was uploaded, and an automatic originality check flags anything that mirrors an existing published or produced screenplay before it reaches you. You read work with a clean, verifiable chain of authorship — not an anonymous PDF of unknown origin.

02

How do I find work that's actually relevant to me?

Search and filter the feed by format, genre and language, or describe what you want in a sentence and let the AI match it. Or post a mandate — “Singapore-set thriller, any language, student-friendly budget” — and let the right creators come to you.

03

What does it cost, and what's the catch?

A flat subscription to browse and contact creators, and a 5% success fee that applies only if a deal closes through a SceneOne introduction. No deal, no fee. We earn when you both do — the incentive is a real match, not volume.

04

How do I know the work is real and human-made?

Every industry account is reviewed and verified before it can browse a single page, so you're in a vetted marketplace, not an open forum. And SceneOne is a home for human writing: AI-generated works are not permitted, and the originality check keeps it that way.

The next one is already here.

Accounts are verified by hand before any browsing — the gate that keeps creators’ work safe, and the feed worth your time.
