Terms & Conditions
The agreement between you and SceneOne. By creating an account or uploading a work, you accept these terms. Last updated: July 2026.
You keep ownership of your work
You retain full ownership of, and all intellectual property rights in, every work you upload to SceneOne. Uploading does not transfer copyright or ownership to SceneOne. We store your files privately and never publish or share them without your explicit, per-request approval.
SceneOne's 5% success share
SceneOne earns only when you do. If a deal, sale, option, licence or other commercial agreement is closed as a result of an introduction facilitated through SceneOne, SceneOne is entitled to a 5% share of the rights and/or proceeds of that deal. This success fee applies to every work you upload and to any deal arising from a SceneOne introduction. There is no fee if no deal is closed.
Access is controlled by you
Industry professionals must request access to your work. Nothing is disclosed unless you approve the request. Approved parties receive a single, time-limited (1-week) read link, no downloads, no forwarding, no permanent copies. You may decline any request.
IP protection certificate
On upload, SceneOne generates a SHA-256 cryptographic fingerprint and a timestamped certificate for your work. This serves as verifiable evidence of the creation timestamp and your authorship claim. It is strong supporting evidence but does not, by itself, constitute statutory copyright registration.
Your responsibilities
By uploading, you confirm that you own or hold the rights to the work and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide. Accounts that upload infringing or unlawful content may be suspended or removed.
Human work only
SceneOne is a marketplace for human-authored creative work. Works generated by AI are not permitted, and the automatic originality check helps enforce this. Submitting AI-generated work as your own may result in removal of the work and suspension of your account.
Platform & liability
SceneOne is a technology platform that connects creators with verified industry professionals, it is not a law firm, agent, or party to any deal you negotiate. We provide the marketplace, protection tooling and introductions; the terms of any deal are between you and the counterparty (subject to SceneOne's 5% success share above).
